This week in the charts we have debuts from Bully Hay, Sam Buckingham, Dune Rats, Gusto Gusto, Moler, Lizzard Wizzard, Dom Dolla / Puretone, Dean Lewis, G Flip & The Beaches, Michael Paynter, Xavier Rudd, Shane O’Mara & Jac Tonks.
‘Addicted to Bass’ the latest release from Dom Dolla & Puretone secured #2 on the 100% Independent Singles charts & #3 on the Independent Label Singles chart; followed by Dean Lewis who secured #3 & #4 with his latest release ‘Enjoy It While It Lasts’, Michael Paynter took out #6 & #8 with ‘The Great Australian Songbook, Vol.2 (Live) EP’, while G Flip & The Beaches took out #7 on the Independent Label Singles chart with ‘Lez Go’.
Bully Hay took out #1 across both albums charts with ‘Anywhere But Here’, followed by Sam Buckingham who took out #2 across both with ‘Beautiful Machine’.
‘Old Mates’ the latest release from Dune Rats took out #4 on the 100% Independent Albums chart & #5 on the Independent Label Albums chart, Gusto Gusto’s ‘Tyrannosauroborus’ took out #5 & #6, Shane O'Mara, Jac Tonks secured #6 & #10 with ‘Sorrow Hides the Longing to Be Free - The Songs of Bert Jansch’.
Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham took out #4 on the Independent Label Albums chart with ‘Everything Around You’ & Xavier Rudd’s 'Freedom Sessions/Where To Now' secured #8.
Rounding out a busy week of debuts, Moler entered the charts for the very first time securing #10 on the 100% Independent Albums chart with ’69’, and Lizzard Wizzard took out #13 with ‘Worm War III’.
